Terms of Service

These terms describe use of the Audentic website and platform operated by Detextit, including agent creation, website widgets, conversation history, and visitor requests. They apply to account holders and people using Audentic’s own demos. A business using an Audentic widget may also have its own terms.
Your account and business content
Use accurate account details, keep your sign-in secure, and only act for a business when you are authorized to do so. You remain responsible for the instructions, business knowledge, website origins, and other content you supply. You must have the rights and permissions needed to use that content.
You retain your rights in your content. You authorize Audentic and its service providers to process it as needed to provide the features you use, including sending agent instructions and knowledge to the model provider.
Publishing a voice agent
Test your agent before publishing it, keep its knowledge current, and only embed it on websites you are authorized to manage. Tell visitors that they are speaking with AI and provide any notices and permissions required for processing conversations and collecting contact details.
Audentic’s browser widget starts microphone access after a visitor chooses to start a conversation and grants browser permission. Follow-up requests require the visitor to review and confirm the details before submission. A saved enquiry is a request for the business to review; it does not itself complete a booking, purchase, or promised follow-up.
Responsible use
Do not use the service for fraud, impersonation, unlawful activity, harassment, or unauthorized access. Do not upload information you are not entitled to share, collect sensitive personal information unnecessarily, bypass usage limits, or interfere with the platform or another account.
Do not rely on a voice agent for emergency response or as the sole source of medical, legal, financial, or other consequential decisions. Provide an appropriate way for visitors to reach a person.
AI output and service availability
AI responses can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing your agent’s behavior and any actions or decisions based on its output. Model access, voices, usage limits, and available features can change. Service availability depends on Audentic and its hosting, authentication, and model providers.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a promise that every response will be correct or that service will be uninterrupted. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Plans and costs
The currently available account plan is Free. Paid subscriptions are described as coming soon. A coming-soon plan is not an active paid subscription or a commitment to a launch date. Any future paid offering must show its applicable price and terms before purchase.
Recorded usage and costs can be incomplete when a provider does not return verified usage. The dashboard identifies missing cost data; it should not be treated as a guaranteed provider invoice.
Pausing, deletion, and suspension
You can pause an agent to stop new visitor conversations. Deleting an agent stops its widget and removes its configuration, knowledge, and visitor submissions from the active application database. Historical conversation records and provider records may remain; contact us about removal. Keep copies of any content or records you need before deleting an agent.
Access may be restricted when necessary to address misuse, security issues, usage limits, or legal obligations. Contact us below for account closure or privacy requests.
Privacy and changes
Read the Privacy Policy for how the platform handles account information, audio processing, conversation transcripts, and visitor requests. We communicate material changes to these terms before they take effect where required by law.
