ElevenLabs Agents and Audentic both give businesses a way to put a conversational agent on a website. Both offer setup tools and conversation review. A useful comparison looks at the model strategy, the channels you need, and the work your operator will do each week.

Our assessment: Audentic fits businesses choosing a platform dedicated to native OpenAI Realtime speech-to-speech. ElevenLabs Agents is worth evaluating when voice customization, model-provider flexibility, and deployment across channels are priorities.

ElevenLabs Agents is a full agent platform

ElevenLabs calls its platform ElevenAgents. Its documentation describes a dashboard, developer toolkit, visual workflows, knowledge bases, tools, testing, conversation analysis, and analytics. Deployment options include web, mobile, and telephony. ElevenAgents overview.

Its model configuration supports multiple LLM providers, including OpenAI, and custom model endpoints. The platform also documents backup model configurations. Teams that want control over provider selection should examine those options. ElevenAgents models.

The web widget is configurable through the dashboard or SDKs and supports voice and text modes. It is a practical website option; setting up an ElevenLabs agent does not inherently require a developer. ElevenAgents widget.

Audentic's choice is to specialize

Audentic's core direction is OpenAI Realtime's native end-to-end speech-to-speech architecture. OpenAI describes a model that works directly with audio, maintains conversation state, and uses tools. This is a different starting point from separately selecting speech recognition, a text model, and a synthesized voice. Official OpenAI Realtime documentation.

Our current platform also has a configurable GPT-Live option. GPT-Live delegates task work to a backend, so it should not be described as the same end-to-end architecture or as the core differentiator. Official OpenAI GPT-Live documentation, Our architecture focus.

Our product decision is to concentrate the surrounding work on that native voice architecture and its business operation: reviewed knowledge, a published website widget, saved conversations, visitor requests, and activity visibility. Specialization is not a claim that another platform lacks useful voice technology, nor that a particular model will be best for every business.

The operator can describe the agent in the editor or speak with the builder, test real questions, approve the website origin, and publish. A generated snippet handles the website installation when the site accepts scripts; a React component supports developer integrations. Audentic quickstart, Website widget.

Compare what happens after the conversation

In Audentic, saved transcripts help you identify missing facts or unclear instructions. Optional on-screen steps let the agent create and revise choices and forms inside the widget. A visitor presses Send on a form or confirms a follow-up request before it reaches the owner's Inbox. The team then acts on it. Agent configuration, Conversations and requests.

ElevenAgents documents conversation history, testing, analytics, and tools for connecting actions. Those features may be important if you want to build a wider workflow around the conversation. Evaluate the actual tool configuration and operator experience for the action you need. ElevenAgents overview.

For either product, separate what an assistant says from what the system actually saved or completed. A request to arrange an appointment is only an enquiry until your booking system or team confirms it. Audentic's current Inbox does not automatically book appointments or send outbound messages. When to choose each platform

Evaluate Audentic when your first goal is a website assistant around a reviewed set of business facts, with an operator who wants to configure, publish, review, and handle visitor enquiries in one workspace. The documented knowledge limits and current plan status should match your needs. Business knowledge.

Evaluate ElevenLabs Agents when the voice itself, provider flexibility, visual workflows, or deployment beyond a website are key requirements. These are informed fit assessments from the linked documentation, not measured rankings. ElevenAgents overview, Models.

Use a realistic evaluation

Give both agents the same business facts and ask the same questions. Try an interruption, an unknown answer, and a request that changes before submission. Test on your actual website with a signed-out visitor. Review the saved record and the next step your staff must take.

This article does not establish a latency or audio-quality winner. Your prompt, model, tools, browser, and network affect the result. The strongest evidence for your choice is a working customer journey on the site you plan to use.
