Quickstart
Create an agent in the editor, try it, and add it to your website. You can type the details or talk to the Audentic assistant on the same page. You need an Audentic account, a microphone for voice conversations, and a website where you can paste an embed snippet.
1. Describe your agent
- Sign in or create an account, then open Agents.
- Choose Create agent.
- In About, enter an Agent name and describe Your business and your agent’s purpose. For example: “I run a pottery studio. Help visitors compare beginner classes and learn how to book.”
- Select Save draft.
For help by voice, select Talk to the builder before making unsaved edits, and allow microphone access. Describe the same details and ask for changes to the name, voice, greeting, or instructions. Your draft updates and saves as you talk. End the builder call and wait for its final changes to sync before editing or testing. Keep the page URL to return to this workspace later.
2. Add business facts
In Knowledge, add your hours, services, prices, and answers to common questions under What should your agent know?, then select Save changes. You can also tell the builder these facts or ask it to import a public webpage. Review the saved information in the same Knowledge step.
Use Reference materials to upload documents or manage additional knowledge sources. Choose the voice and optional capabilities in Help & voice.
3. Try a conversation
Save your changes and open Test & publish. Start the widget under Try a real conversation. Ask a question it should know, one with a missing answer, and one outside its job. Try interrupting it.
End the test call before editing or talking to the builder again. Preview conversations count toward voice usage.
4. Publish on your website
- In Test & publish, add each origin under Website addresses, such as
https://example.comandhttps://www.example.com. Include staging sites separately. Use an origin with no page path or wildcard. - Review the instructions, business facts, voice, and website addresses. End any active call before publishing.
- Select Publish agent, then Copy snippet.
- Paste the snippet into your website's Custom HTML or Embed block and publish the website.
- Visit the live page while signed out, allow microphone access, and test a conversation.
See Publish to a website for HTML, React, and browser requirements. After launch, review Conversations and, if enabled, visitor requests in Inbox.
